Philippines Mission Trip 2026

Follow Old Bethel Baptist Church as our five-member team serves churches and families in the Philippines. We will share ministry updates, photos, and current ways to pray.

November 23 – December 7, 2026

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”Matthew 28:19–20

Before Trip

Pray with us

Brent, Christy, & Maggie will be ministering the Word of God at multiple speaking occasions; preaching & teaching. Please pray for our preparation for each one. That we would deny ourselves, take us the cross daily and follow Christ Jesus (Luke 9:23). Pray we would remain in prayer (1 Thess 5:17), asking, seeking, & knocking to receive His Spirit (Luke 11:9-13) for wisdom & clear direction for every message/lesson. Pray for us to be faithful to study to show ourselves approved unto God, not being ashamed as we rightly divide the Word of Truth (2 Tim 2:15). The majority of the hearers of these messages will be Filipino. Pray that the Lord will grant to us the mind of Christ; lowliness of mind that we would esteem them better than ourselves; not looking out for only our own things but also on the things of others, that we may become all things to all men, that by all means we might save some, for the gospel's sake and for the glory of God! (Phil 2:3-5, 1 Cor 9:19-23).

Preparing to serve

The team is preparing to serve in Ilocos Norte and at a church in Bataan from November 23 through December 7. Planned ministry includes a pastors and preachers conference, marriage sessions, ladies and young ladies gatherings, and Sunday services. We will share updates here as plans are confirmed and the trip begins.

How to prayPray for every traveler to prepare well and remain healthy. Pray for the host churches and pastors as they prepare. Pray for Brent, Christy, and Maggie as they prepare to speak. Pray that each meeting will clearly point people to Christ. Pray for wisdom with the remaining travel and lodging details.
